What You’ll Learn (Highlights)

Students receive foundational knowledge and practical understanding in areas including:

 

  • Nuclear physics and applied math fundamentals

  • Radioactivity, radiation types, and biological health effects

  • Radiation and contamination surveys

  • Use of radiological detection instruments and dosimetry

  • ALARA principles and exposure control methods

  • Radiological Work Permits (RWPs) and supporting documentation

  • Recordkeeping and reporting to protect workers, the public, and the environment

  • Entry-Level / Trainee: $35+ per hour

  • Experienced / Senior Technician: $50+ per hour

  • Overtime Rates:

    • Time and a half: $75+ per hour

    • Double time: $100+ per hour

Actual pay varies by site, location, and experience.

Live & Mentored In-Person Course Pricing:

 

  • Fewer than 20 students: $5,000

  • 30 students enrolled: $4,500

  • Bring a friend: $4,000 each

A deposit is required to secure enrollment. Remaining tuition is due by the stated due date (unless on a payment plan).​​
